Women empowerment has always been the focus of Pepus work. Pepus believes that women belong to the most underprivileged and dalit section of the society. Most of the activities of Pepus are women centered. Formation of SHG, leadership development among women, training on laws related with women, gender issues etc. are major activities for empowering women. At present Pepus has formed SHGs among women in its working areas and combining these SHGs, two block level federations, Mahila Shakti Mahasangh and Swayam Sahayata Samooh Mahasangh have been formed.
