Three days bio-farming training was organized at project office, Lalgopalganj during 14-17 June, 06 with farmers including men and women both. 42 persons (26 male and 16 females) attended this event. Mr. Ram Bhuwan from GEAG, Gorakhpur was the resource person. This training programme covered the following points.

0n 25 th June 2006 one day workshop on HIV/AIDS has been organized at primary school, Patna . 70 participants attended this workshop. Mr. Anil Yadav was the resource person. The following points have been discussed in the workshop.
Latest information regarding to HIV/AIDS has been provided to participants. Participants have been gained knowledge, understanding about the HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases in men. Pamphlets have been distributed to participants. |
Three day training on SHG management was organized at Pepus project office, Lal Gopal Ganj during 27-29 June, 06. In this training 26 leaders from 13 groups were present. Mr. Anil Yadav SWARG, Allahabad provided the training. This training programme covered the following points.

 PEPUS organized a workshop at Patna Primary School in Kaurihar Block of Allahabad District to celebrate World Environment Day. About 100 men and women from Kaurihar Block of Allahabad district, Bihar , and Kunda Block of Pratapgarh district participated in the workshop. This event is organized to generate awareness among the people about The bad effect on environment caused by brick kilns situated in Kaurihar Block. The Participants discussed about the harmful effect of large number of brick kilns situated in The area and found out the solution to reduce the bad effect. |
On 28 th Oct. 05 Sahbhagi Gramin Vikas Sammelan was organized jointly by two level Sangathan, GSVS and MSM at Naugarh Kothighat. In this event about 650 participants (members of both of the Sangathan) were present. 15 Gram Pradhan from whole of the block also participated and gave their assurance to support these local bodies. World AIDS Day Celebrated
6 th days training of Adolescent Girl Education Centre Instructors 6 th days training was organized at Pepus field office, Lal Gopal Ganj, Allahabad on 10 th to 15 th Feb. 06 of AGEC instructors on Family Life Education. Women Convention On 19 th Feb 06 at Patna Primary School , Kaurihar Allahabad a women convention was organized in which about 500 members of 30 SHGs participated. |
