Pepus felt that for proper and maximum utilization of natural resources its management is necessary. This programme is conducted basically in the tribal area of Naugarh block, where lands are sloppy and agriculture entirely depends on rainfall. Therefore Pepus constructed small check dams in the area to preserve rainwater for irrigation and also land bunding is promoted. Under this Programme well and hand pump repairing has also been done so that safe drinking water could be made available for the community.
