Pepus facilitates identification of local issues through local community and community based organizations (CBOs). Advocacy and Lobbying is an important tool for any community-based organization. Advocacy and lobbying can be used as powerful arms by CBOs to attain rights of people. Pepus formed two CBOs in Naugarh and two in Kaurihar Block and facilitates them to get their rights from Panchayat and Government. Pepus also builds capacity of CBO representatives in Advocacy through trainings, workshops and exposure visits and creates awareness generation among elected representatives and other interested community about the local issues through CBOs. Highlighting the problems at multi levels i.e. local level through CBOs, regional level through networks, at state/national level through elected representatives and bigger networks.
