Paryavaran Evam Prodyogiki Utthan Samiti (PEPUS) was established in 1990 as a non-profit organization and registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 and ForeignContribution Regulation Act (FCRA). It has its head office at Allahabad but it started operating (1994) in a remote area falling under Naugarh Block of Varanasi (now Chandauli) district. Recently (2001) the operational area has spread to Allahabad and Pratapgarh District also. Target group of PEPUS primarily comprises of Dalits, Tribals and women, all drawn from the downtrodden section of society....More




Women empowerment is the base for the progress of society and nation. A rural woman should also be provided equal opportunities and rights in social, economic and political sphere.

 


Children
are the future of the nation and they should be provided all the opportunities and facilities for which they are entitled to. Future of our nation will flourish with the blossoming children.

Environment conservation is our responsibility. Modern environment friendly techniques need to be adopted and developed for environment conservation.

Panchayat is an important unit for rural development. To fulfill the vision of rural development our panchayats should be responsive and empowered

Formation and strengthening of people's organization is must for getting their own rights and for their self development
